Japanese sake<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tsp. brown sugar<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp. peanut oil<br \/>\n\u2022 2 tbsp. spring onion, finely chopped<br \/>\n\u2022 1 garlic clove<br \/>\n\u2022 A little balsamic<br \/>\n\u2022 Salt &amp; Pepper<br \/>\n\u2022 1\u00a0package of nori sheets<br \/>\n\u2022 toasted sesame seeds for garnish (optional)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nCut King Oyster Mushrooms lengthwise into 4mm thick slices on a large plate.<br \/>\nMix the soy sauce, Japanese sake and brown sugar in a small bowl.<br \/>\nPour the sauce over the mushrooms &amp; mix to coat them evenly. Marinate for 15&#8242;.<br \/>\nRemove the King Oyster Mushrooms from the marinade and keep it aside.<br \/>\nAdd the peanut oil to a non-stick pan &amp; heat over medium-high heat.<br \/>\nAdd the spring onion and stir.<br \/>\nWe cook the mushrooms in batches. Spread them all over the pan without overlapping.<br \/>\nLet the mushrooms cook without stirring them. When the pan is hot, reduce the temperature and turn our mushrooms so that they cook on the other side.<br \/>\nIt takes about 8&#8242; for each batch, until the mushrooms acquire a golden brown color.<br \/>\nWhen the last batch of mushrooms is cooked, add all the mushrooms to the pan and pour the marinade over the mushrooms.<br \/>\nContinue cooking on medium low heat for 2-3&#8242;, until the liquids are absorbed.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the King Oyster Mushrooms on the nori rolls.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808000;\">\u2022 Sluuurrp \u2022<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #808000;\">Dinner tonight provided by: Mushrooms\u2019 Art<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A vegan dish with Greek King Oyster Mushrooms, that tastes better than meat!
